KM Driveline Inc. is a 37-year-old, family-owned and operated business specializing in driveline systems, mobile hydraulics, and truck components. We’re currently hiring a Parts Purchasing Manager to oversee parts ordering, vendor negotiations, and inventory control across our Brooklyn and Long Island locations. If you’re experienced in sourcing parts, managing supply chains, and ensuring the right components are on hand when needed, we’d like to hear from you.

What We Do:
Wholesale and retail, local and online (Drive Shafts, Differentials, Transfer Cases, Mobile Hydraulics, Pumps, Valves, PTOs, Push Pull Cables, Truck Parts, and Truck Transmissions).

Requirements

Requirements:
  • Ordering parts, materials, and supplies to keep our shops running smoothly.
  • Dealing with vendors—negotiating prices, setting up orders, and ensuring timely deliveries.
  • Monitoring inventory to ensure we’re stocked but not overstocked.
  • Collaborating with the team to determine needs and timing.
  • Handling invoices, purchase orders, and tracking spending.
  • Solving any supply chain issues that arise.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in purchasing or procurement, preferably in truck, driveline, or industrial parts
  • Strong knowledge of parts sourcing, vendor negotiation, and order processing
  • Familiarity with driveline systems, hydraulics, or commercial truck components is a plus
  • Proficiency in inventory software and Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Word)
  • Ability to manage multiple vendors and stay organized under pressure
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Reliable transportation to travel between Brooklyn and Long Island locations if needed
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a hands-on, shop-based environment
